This issue's mixtape is presented by Sienna Fekete, a Brooklyn, NY-based radio and podcast producer, curator, and co-founder of Chroma, a cross-disciplinary creative studio centering womxn of color.

"The mix is an ode to the earth," writes Fekete in a recent artist statement about the immersive, undulating, and highly danceable mix. "I incorporated many genres: dancehall, gqom, tarraxa, house, baile funk, techno, 2-step, and some Estonian music from Velly Joonas."

The sonic storyteller is a well-known DJ, editor, and archivist in the New York sound community, but this is her first-ever recorded mix. Drawing from her close-knit music community and several deep cut samples––from the animated children's series "The Magic School Bus" to Isabella Rossellini's "Green Porno" series––Fekete takes listeners through a lush, vibrant, underground soundscape that's teeming with life.
